Terms & Conditions

1. The Student Leadership Summit is open to students who are studying BCom CA-Stream qualification at a SAICA-accredited institution.
2. Students entering the competition must be involved or running a project by the closing date of the competition.
3. The project should solve one or more of the UN Sustainable Development Goals
4. To enter, students must visit SAICA’s SLS website, fill in the entry form and submit their community project’s business plan using the template provided on the website.
5. The finalists will be required to spend two days in Johannesburg to attend a workshop and the awards ceremony. The dates will be communicated to finalists.
6. All finalists will have their transport and accommodation paid for the two days they are expected for the final events.
7. No prizes are exchangeable for cash or any other prize.
8. The judges’ decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
9. A finalist can withdraw or decline their position in the competition before the formal announcement of the Finalists.
10. A finalist can be disqualified from the competition for disciplinary reasons, failure to adhere to the competition’s submission deadlines and for any act that might bring SAICA, the competition and its sponsors into disrepute.
11. Submission of an entry form indicates acceptance of the Conditions of Entry. Failure to comply will result in disqualification.
12. SAICA respects your privacy and recognise the importance of protecting your privacy in respect of your personal information. By entering the Student Leadership Summit competition, we will collect, verify, and process your personal information mainly for the purpose of understanding the requirements of this competition.
